Product description lists these shoes as "leather"... the whole upper is man made material that easily scratches/scuffs and exposes the black material under the thin layer of brown plastic or whatever it is. After only wearing 2 times the finish started cracking where the foot bends. The only leather found is a very thin layer of what is probably Chinese rat hide, not on the outside of the upper where it counts. DO NOT BUY if your looking for leather shoes.
