Good strong leather. My second pair for my little son who slays shoes like lions slay deer. The first one was a penny loafer and it held up well so I wanted another. School hasn’t started yet but he keeps wearing them to formal occasions instead of his formal shoes. I think he likes them!I suppose that for the price these shoes might be fine. However, I found the leather to be of medium quality, making the shoe a bit squeaky and inflexible. I admit that the other shoes I was considering were of higher-quality leather, and so priced higher (from $55-$80). If your son finds these to be comfortable, good for you. We went with a Florsheim shoe that cost $55.The shoes appeared to be nice and good quality. However, I had to return them due to the size. I purchased a wide width for my son, but they were still too tight across the top of his foot.I thought these were a bit pricey at first. Nope. Well worth it. My son wears these daily with his uniform to school. Not only do they look better than the average department store shoe, they have lasted. Very durable.My son loves it. Lots of cushion and it was wide fit. I will be a return customer. Plus it came with extra shoe laces.I ordered the shoe for my son. It is a very nice-looking shoe. He wore the shoes to a wedding and danced the night away (he's 7 years old). He said they were comfortable. I think the price is high, although the quality seems very good.Shoe fits great.
