it was relatively easy to put together although there were screws the same size but there were supposed to be another set of screws that didn't match what the picture showed. I would have liked one or two more "pictures" to help put it together. The little clear plastic smile cover broke- that was sad. But otherwise, it appears to be pretty sturdy. My granddaughter hasn't sat in it yet, so we shall see how sturdy it is.
